Bio-luminescent Forest - work in progress

This was my first ever project in Unreal Engine 4. Being self-taught, it was my introduction to the engine. I work best with faced with incredible challenges, so I aimed for the best-case scenario (not what I COULD create, but what I WANTED to create), and the idea of a forest filled with bio-luminescent flora was at the top of my list. What started as basic landscape experimentation quickly turned into learning how to manipulate materials, post-processing effects, particles, and many other things. Most assets in the map are free assets from the Unreal Marketplace, with the exception of things like the dynamic campfire, tower, and the drastic material manipulation applied to the foliage assets, in order to obtain the desire glowing effects. While it is still very much a work-in-progress, I hope that including this will give insight into my imaginative nature, and my willingness to face a new challenge. This project is something that will continue as I gain fluency with the software.
