Why:

This was a unique opportunity, poised to be the largest-ever single show in Finland’s history, in a venue holding over 60,000 people. This was also the first time this Airport had ever been used as a concert venue. Knowing this, there are expected to be unaddressed UX concerns

What:

Impromptu observations and behavior mapping was done throughout the visit. Facility mapping was identified, including signage and usage. Areas of unusually high congestion were documented, and constraints causing the congestion (such as barriers) were identified.

The information was presented for easy digesting via the Info-graphic to the right

Following the completion of this project, I was asked to publish an article discussing it in the ERAU newspaper as a unique example of UX research. The full online article can be found HERE
