This is a work-in-progress, a project that I started at home in order to continue my self-training in level design. Pictured is an incomplete 3D recreation of the “Termina” location from the Chrono Cross video game on the original Playstation. The goal here is to create a modern, playable, 3D photo-realistic version of the original 2D stage, which was simply a series of hand drawn photos. Pictures show the development process in Blender (bottom left), the original stage (bottom right), and the models exported as a playable level (top) within Unreal Engine (with some test materials applied).
